My Cultural Background

I love and respect all cultures,

we can learn from every culture.

The colour of one’s skin is not important,

the soul of the person is much more significant

than skin colour and a person’s cultural background.

There maybe different shades of

complexions in the World’s population,

but we all belong to one race, the human race.

Nationality is a superficial thing, we all live on the

same planet, we all came from the same place once

upon a time and spread across the globe. We are all

equal, we need to unite as a race, stop separation,

end discrimination and start loving each other and

ourselves in order to truly evolve.

Orignally an answer to a question which was included in one of my partner’s art projects about Cultural Background in June 2015.

Turned it into a poem; Friday 24th March 2017
